Yoga changes everything, but it happens, using the ‘one step at a time’ business plan. I daily tell my students( yes, repetitively) that the benefits are subtle. It’s exactly this slow but steady incline that builds our foundations to change. If you can commit to JUST 10 MINUTES on your mat a day you will change. This approach is not stressful but yet far reaching and built to last.
Tara Stiles is one of my favorite Yogini’s – I guess because she vetoed a modeling career and pursued Yoga instead. She has a humorous and inclusive approach to Yoga in her efforts to make it available to everyone. She recently did a a short documentary bringing yoga and all she has done back to her home town. Gaim supported it by donating 200 yoga mats and her approach to the movie is completelyhumble, real and i feel brings yoga to middle america.
