In my classes this week we are focusing on our SADHANA- in sanskrit it means our discipline or approach in pursuit of a goal. The HOW we meet our CHALLENGE is what our yoga practice can teach us on and off the mat. We are the Sadhaka’s or practitioners – apply your intelligence towards a spiritual goal. Notice how you get in and out of a pose the transitions the frustration. Then there is sometimes the
over posturing or lack of democracy in the body- we aim for even flow through the entire body while connecting with the breath. The proper punctuation for any pose is a SMILE, cuz if you can’t then you are trying too hard and muscling into it for lack of trust and patience.
